To ensure high quality, we may occasionally limit the number of new story orders we accept during peak periods. If capacity is reached, new orders may be paused temporarily until production slots reopen
We want every StarChild story to feel truly magical.
If you or your child aren’t absolutely delighted with your digital storybook, contact us within 7 days of delivery, and we’ll either fix it or issue a full refund — no hard feelings.
Each printed StarChild book is custom-made just for your family, so refunds aren’t possible once printing has begun.
However, if your book arrives damaged, misprinted, or with incorrect personalization, please email [email protected] within 7 days of delivery. We’ll gladly replace it at no cost or provide another suitable solution.
If your printed order also includes a digital version, that digital story remains covered by Our Bedtime Promise — you can still request a refund for the digital portion within 7 days if you’re not fully happy with it.
We reserve the right to decline refund requests in cases of clear abuse — for example, multiple orders followed by repeated refund claims, or the use of refunded materials for distribution.

Our stories, illustrations, and other digital materials may be generated or assisted by artificial intelligence technologies, based on the information you provide. While we do our best to ensure age-appropriate, high-quality content, AI-generated material may occasionally contain inaccuracies or minor inconsistencies. You agree to review any content before sharing it with your child and to use your own judgment as a parent or guardian.
Our products are designed to support family connection, imagination, and emotional skills through storytelling. They are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, therapeutic, or educational advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have concerns about your child’s health, development, or wellbeing, please consult a qualified professional.
All story templates, characters, artwork styles, underlying software, and the StarChild brand are and remain our intellectual property or that of our licensors. When you purchase a personalized storybook, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the final personalized files and printed products for your own personal, non-commercial use (for example, reading with your family or giving the book as a gift).
You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly perform, or use the content for commercial purposes (such as resale, publishing, or licensing) without our prior written consent.
If you select the eBook + Printed Book package, your printed book will be produced and shipped after your personalized digital story is delivered. Printed books are available in softcover or hardcover, full-color, and are professionally produced using premium paper.
Since each printed book is uniquely created for your child, printed books are non-refundable. Reprints may only be issued in rare cases of severe damage during transit or clear production defects.

Some parts of the service may be launched as beta or early-access features. These may change, improve, or be discontinued at any time. We may also update story formats, illustration styles, and product options without prior notice in order to improve quality.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of our services will be handled under the jurisdiction of Wyoming, USA.
However, we may also choose to resolve matters in the customer’s local courts when appropriate.
